Halloween is just about here and if you're still on the look out for things to do, What's on the Menu has helped us roundup some parties around our city:

Halloween Night:

• Brick House:  Halloween Karaoke! Wear a costume and grab the mic because Best Costumed Performance will win the cash prize!
• The Fez: Costume party with the Thierry Arpino Project playing LIVE at 10pm!
• Hudson Grille:   Starting at 8pm, come in costume—prize given for BEST costume and other giveaways all night long!
• Lola’s Stamford:  Day of the Dead Bash—Costume contest at Midnight, DJ Chevy in the house PLUS, Sangria, Red Devils and Bloody Mary specials all night long!
• SBC Stamford:  Halloween Costume Party beginning at 10pm with a cash prize given out for Best Costume!
• Tiernans:  Nightmare on Main Street! Come in costume and you may win a cash prize for Best Costume! Giveaways all night and LIVE music by Spunk beginning at 9pm, plus $5 Jameson shots! 
• Tigin:  Halloween Costume Party beginning at 9pm (cash prizes for Best Costume!)

Still not ready to hang up your costume? Friday, Nov 1st - come by The Fez for a Halloween Costume Blowout with Live music or Rodizio for a Halloween After Party! Saturday, Nov 2nd at Casey's Tavern will continue the Halloween celebrations with a Costume Party complete with prizes and a DJ!

Looking for plans this weekend? Tickets are still available for tonight's Oktoberfest On The Meadow at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center!

The Moderne Stamford Featured in Westfair Online!

 The building is RMS’s third luxury apartment building to open in Stamford in the last three years. The company also built The BLVD and Parallel 41 in Stamford, plus other properties in Norwalk and two Hotel Zero Degrees.

“Downtown Stamford has become a great place to live,” said RMS owner Randall Salvatore. The company’s units mostly appeal to the young, upwardly mobile demographic that previously would likely have rented in Manhattan. 

“Now Stamford has everything they’re looking for,” Salvatore added. “That’s why we’re having so much success. There’s an influx of people moving into Stamford, whereas you used to have to go to Manhattan for the same downtown experience. Now you can go to Stamford.” 

Located a couple blocks north of the hustle and bustle of downtown, the building includes a total of 58 one-, two- and three-bedroom units. Stacked with amenities such as a gym, entertainment areas and a theater, rent starts about $2,000 a month for a one-bedroom apartment. Some 31 units had been leased even before the ribbon cutting.

The Moderne Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting on September 25th

“The unit finishes are hardwood floors, have granite countertops,” says Randy Salvatore, Owner of RMS Companies. “And the amenities we have a movie theatre, we have an exercise room, we have a great rooftop lounge, we have a great rooftop lounge, we have a cappuccino bar on the first floor so we tried to create almost like a hotel feeling here.”
Salvatore says The Moderne officially opened its doors to tenants on September 1 and has been well received.

As of now The Moderne has rented 60% of its units!
